The Maryland Center at Bowie State University is a nonprofit dedicated to overcoming economic status and social settings. As an affiliated foundation of the University System of Maryland, the Center actively engages in and supports activities to further enhance the academic and service mission of Bowie State University. The partnership (collaboration) between The Maryland Center and Bowie State works to increase the University’s research capacity.

Dwayne Robinson, Director of the MCBSU Operations Group, is a seasoned entrepreneur and advisor with extensive expertise in strategic planning, business growth, and executive mentorship. As the founder of Executive Business Advisors, LLC, he guides C-level leaders and helps businesses scale and innovate, with a focus on growth strategies, personnel development, and M&As.
He also co-founded GovFlex, an e-commerce platform connecting government contractors with skilled freelancers, and led Vision Systems & Technology (VSTI) to become a key provider for the U.S. intelligence community before its acquisition by SAS in 2010.
With a career that began in defense contracting at IBM, NSA, and Booz Allen, Robinson’s achievements include Fast50 recognition and the Small Business Award of Excellence. He also served on Bowie State University’s Board of Visitors and lectured in information systems at Anne Arundel Community College. Holding degrees in computer science and information systems, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership.
