Welcome to the donation page of The Maryland Center (“The Maryland Center,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this website and making a donation, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. The Maryland Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an affiliated foundation of the University System of Maryland.
1. Use of This Website

2. Donations
- All donations are voluntary and support the mission and programs of The Maryland Center.
- By submitting a donation, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
- Donations are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
- The Maryland Center generally directs gifts to the area of greatest need unless a specific program is designated, and reserves the right to allocate funds as needed to fulfill its charitable mission.
3. Recurring (Monthly) Gifts
If you choose a monthly gift, you authorize The Maryland Center and its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. You may cancel or modify a recurring gift at any time by contacting us, and cancellation will apply to future charges.
4. Tax Deductibility and Receipts
The Maryland Center is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless otherwise stated. You will receive a receipt for your records; please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
5. Refund Policy
We are grateful for your support. If a donation was made in error or you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us within 15 days of the transaction and we will work in good faith to review and, where appropriate, refund the gift.

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, and images, is the property of The Maryland Center or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce or distribute content without prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
